Multiple scientific studies have been conducted on the power of objects as memory cues, and I’m sure you’ve already experienced it at some point in your life. This is when we use an object to remind us of something, like an object at the door to remind you to remember your keys before you leave. Memory cues work both at the conscious level and at the subconscious level. When you start driving and then immediately end up at your destination with no recollection of driving there, your subconscious took the wheel. In fact, our subconscious takes up 95% of our brain energy!

Intentions are different from goals: a goal is how you want to live your life in the future, an intention is how you want to live your life in the present moment. 

Intentions are more powerful than goals because we have far more control over the present than we do over future outcomes.
